Rideau Canal is perfect for an evening stroll on a summer night. The Parliament Buildings and the Chateau Laurier are illuminated as are the paths along the water, giving everything a romantic atmosphere. Even better however, is the Canal during winter time when it is turned into one of the greatest skating rinks.
