With 1,815 ft (553 m) Toronto's CN Tower was the highest such tower in the world until September 2007 (and still is the highest free-standing tower in America). But that is not the only thing it has to offer: Sky Pod is the second highest observation deck in the world that's open to the public, while the lower observation deck offers a revolving restaurant and a glass floor area providing a view to the ground some 1,122 ft below. Like the outside elevators, also equipped with a glass floor, this can be a challenge, especially for people afraid of heights.
